Hey guys,
Sorry I didn't update my blog yesterday, I had a busy day. However I just wanted to let you guys know of a new website I found. It's called prosper.com its a website that matches lenders to people looking to take out small loans. Unfortunately it isn't really worth it. Around 40% of the loans are never paid back, causing you to lose your investment. I'd watch out for this site and be wary. Making money online isn't always the easiest thing.

Donation Button.

Another easy way to increase your money coming in from your viewers is to add a donate button. There are many ways to do this but I think the easiest way is pay pal. Sign up for a free account and then click on merchant services and under there click the logo saying "buy now button" from there you can design your own button and copy the code and add it to your blog. It's an easy way to get extra money. As a blogger making money isn't the easiest thing. The best way is any way, so by creating more ways to get money your odds of making money will be much higher. For example, I've added one to the side of my blog. Check it out.

Getting hits is a difficult task, yet the best method to get views on your site seems to be by posting your website in your signature on forums that you belong to or join. Try and find forums that fit your demographic. Have a Great Day!

Getting the Word Out About Your Blog!

I'm still trying to figure out a way to increase traffic to my blog. I've continued to talk to people in chat rooms, however using this method I won't really see a rapid increase in hits. So I have begun to post on the comments of other blogs and ask other bloggers questions to try and arouse some interest in the site. Anyways, Adsense is still under consideration, I'm waiting for my cha cha vetter to be graded, however I've gotten more mechanical turk tasks approved so I'll show an update of that along with an update of my hits although it hasn't really grown substantially yet....

Start Cashing In On Your Blog with Amazon Affiliates!

You might have noticed something new about the blog. It's got advertisements! Using Amazon Affiliates. It's kind of like adsense but a little different. Your incentives are goal based. If you get people to buy products from the advertisement on your page you get a percentage of the sale. The greatest part is that the more you get people to buy stuff on Amazon the more the percentage increases. So here's a screenshot of my Affiliates Account.

Getting Pictures for your Blog, Website, or Page!

"A picture says a thousand words." I think this reigns true more than ever on a blog or website where you are trying to keep the posts interesting and focused. Plus people like pictures! But enough about pictures, where do I get them? You will want to choose royalty free images because they become yours for any type of use depending on where you buy them from. However our experiment doesn't involve spending money so I'm going to head you guys in the direction of www.freefoto.com. It's a great site to get free images to put on your site as long as you show their watermark! And if it really bothers you, you can pay to get the watermark removed. Sick of Blogs With No Answers about Making Money Online!

I've grown pretty tired of viewing other " Make Money Online" blogs, websites, and articles. Most of them are all the same with the same basic information consumed and regurgitated to draw in new visitors. While it seems to prove as an effective business model for some I'm growing tired of seeing this type of site. It's commonplace, just type in "make money online" you will notice a large growing number of sites whose blogs or pages don't depend on good content, they rely on simple filler text and articles to persuade their readers into viewing their pages and increasing ad revenue. They want their text to be plain and boring for a reason. SO THAT YOU THE VISITOR CLICKS THE ADS! That's not what we are trying to do here at Money on My Mind and Online. We do try and create ad revenue and get our pages viewed, however this is an experiment. Can you really make money online with no initial investment other than your time? I'm going to keep trying and suggest you do the same!  And finally to lighten the mood here's a picture of a kitten! :()

Making Money Online with Cha Cha!

Another way to earn cash online easily. Sign up to be a guide at Cha Cha. The texting service which sends you an answer for any question you have. You have to be at least 18 years old, but other than that all the training you need is provided in their very explanatory Cha Cha videos. You start by filling out their application, training at Cha Cha University, and finally taking the test to become a Cha Cha vetter. While at first the pay doesn't look too promising. However, the chance to apply for higher paying jobs is great. They have gurus, specialists, generalists, transcribers, etc. There's always room for improvement at Cha Cha. I will update again with screenshots once I get accepted to Cha Cha! Again this doesn't seem like this will pay for everything, but with a hundred dollars from Mechanical Turk a month and hundred dollars from Cha Cha a month, you can knock out a phone bill and another bill easily! Blogging For Money Startup!

So now that you've made the blog and started posting the difficult part begins, getting traffic to your blog. However it's a little harder than it sounds. You should make sure you have a demographic in mind and play towards them. My intended demographic for this blog is young adults living in America  who tend to have basic computer skills, and are looking to make money online. This is a large demographic is hard who is hard to keep interested especially with all the spam like blogs out there about making money online. It seems as if starting a niche blog would have been easier, however I made may choice and should continue to work on this blog. I have tried posting on websites and talking to people on Omegle. However this has only provided me with a few hits. I really need to find a way to get in contact with my target audience. I will update when I find a way to increase traffic.

Money on My Mind and Online Updated!

To make this blog a little more appealing I've added a few new things. I have added the revolver world map so you can see where all the visitors that view the site are from on a globe. I have also added the money backround and set up a font that's a little easier on the eyes. I considered buying my own domain, yet this seems like a bad idea at this point. I've made money online without putting any of my own my money out yet so I'd like to keep it that way. But when I do make purchases to update my blog or for other online ventures I will let you know, but I will only use money that I have made from my online ventures. Any outside money would make this experiment, well, less fun. But not only would this experiment be less fun, it wouldn't allow you guys to repeat these steps and do them yourselves. I just don't see using your own money from your job to be a good idea. The idea is to make money online out of nothing and see if it can be done. Blogging For Money Online!

I'm new to this facet of making money online, however it seems as if everyone says they make money this way. So I thought I'd start my own blog about how I try and make money online and share my progress, so that I can hopefully be successful in my ventures, but also so you can repeat the things I do and make some money yourself. I got really sick of reading vague e-how articles about how to make money online or blogs about it. I wanted something with real answers and showed real progress, so like people always say, "If you want something done right,do it yourself." Well here's what I did. I made this blog using blogger. I think its an easy tool thats easy to link with my gmail account and other google accounts. I'm not really sure how to get any other advertisements besides using google adsense so that's what I'm choosing to do. Adsense basically works by reading your blog and provides similar advertisements on your page where you choose. You will receive payment when people click on these ads. And the amount per click can vary greatly depending on the advertisement, the popularity, and a vast other number of things. However getting views to your page and clicks on the advertisements will make you money. However you must start and make a few posts before you start adsense, otherwise your account won't be approved. But when you do get approved its easy to see on your blogger account and you will easily be able to track your earnings hits and views for your page. I'll include a screenshot of my blogger view so you can see how easy it is. Also I have only had nine hits to my site so far, but I will show you my current statistics, and will post updates as time goes on and my site gains more popularity. I will show you my statistics and when my adsense is approved I will post as soon as I make any money.

Use Amazon Mechanical Turk to Make Money Online!

I started Amazon Mechanical Turk a few  days ago. I think this site is a great way to make money online. However you won't make an exorbitant amount of money this way, but you can make a decent amount if you put in the effort. Even if you spend 15 to 20 minutes a day on Mechanical Turk you can easily make 5 dollars a day. And at the end of the month that's an extra 150 dollars in your pocket. This is how it works. You start by starting an account on the website. The signups pretty basic and shouldn't take you more than five minutes. After creating an account you can search for tasks. These tasks can be anything from filling out a survey to writing an article. These are great because each task has a different price it pays so you can figure out how to make the most money. Personally I like to search for hits that are any where from 50cents and upwards to about 20$ maximum, however there are a lot more hits that are around 1 dollar. I tend to choose short surveys so I can make a nice 8 to 10 dollars an hour. And if you are a decent writer, articles pay around 2 to 3 dollars and can be completed fairly shortly. Some of your Hit's won't always get approved as you can see but if you take your time and work efficiently you can get a good number of your hits approved and some of them even have bonuses for your performance in the task.
